I recently was in Kavala, Greece at the 2nd Senior High of Kavala for an Erasmus+ KA1 expert training on film education. To be more precise on documentary filmmaking. As always: one week (in the end four days) is not much for a film project. But enough to inspire the 15 pupils that participated in the training.
From Lisbon to Thessaloniki and then on the next day to Kavala was an eye opening experience. It actually was my first time in Greece! In the last years I’ve had several teachers from different schools in Kavala with me in Lisbon. So there already was a connection.
The finished film btw was shown at the local history festival and won the award for best film! We all are very proud!
